Ghana’s former President, Flt Lt Jerry John Rawlings departs Accra for Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on Wednesday January 26, to participate in the African Union (AU) Summit taking place between January 27 and 31 in the Ethiopian capital.
President Rawlings is attending the summit in his capacity as AU High Representative on Somalia.
During the Summit, the former President will also hold meetings with major stakeholders on Somalia ahead of the official commencement of his role in the war-torn country. Aides Kofi Adams and Kobina Andoh are accompanying the former President.
