If Getting audiences to cheer artistes in their performances is the only way of knowing an artiste rocked his or her fans, then Beatwaves can authoritatively say the ‘Abodam’ chanter, Kwaw Kese and headliner Gyedu Blay Ambolley are the current forces to reckon with.ast Sunday at the La Pleasure Beach in Accra where the Coca Cola Bottling Company held a party for consumers to experience the excitement in Coca Cola, the ‘hiplifer’ and ‘highlifer’ performed to the delight of the enthusiastic crowd.
Those who failed to be part of the occasion, especially the fireworks which was the main attraction of the day, have missed an experience of a lifetime! The comical Gyedu Blay Ambolley was the first to open the floor. As expected, he started his performance with the ‘Brrrrrr’ sensation, which earned him deafening cheers. Finally when the real show began, he thrilled fans with his hilarious raps. After him came the sensational hiplife trio, Praye, who mounted the stage with 4x4 for a collaborative performance which elicited excitement. While Kwaw Kese waited in the garden for his turn, the audience had already begun shouting ‘abodam, abodam’. His show, coupled with the fireworks, attracted the largest roar at the beach.
In separate interviews with Beatwaves, the Public Affairs and Communication Manager of Coca Cola, Mr. Ike Cudjoe and the Trade and Marketing Manager, Ekow Blankson indicated that the party was to remind consumers that Coca Cola Bottling Company had a lot to offer. According to them, Coca Cola ended last year with excitement and it would continue this year.
