Official Beverage Sponsor of the Black Stars, Guinness Ghana has hailed the achievements of the team as the company prepares to celebrate its heritage that spans over 250 years.
Guinness today announced the payment of $400,000, being the annual sponsorship package to the senior national team.
FA Vice-President Fred Pappoe together General Secretary Kofi Nsiah and members of the Black Stars management team and backroom staff made up of assistant coach Kwesi Appiah and Dr Allen Akaba were present to receive the sponsor's cheque.
A Guinness Ghana statement read: "The achievements of the Black Stars especially in recent years are outstanding especially their performance in the biggest world tournament, and as an official beverage sponsor for the team GUINNESS is proud to show support and celebrate the Greatness of the players as well as their fans."
The drink company which enjoys an exclusive agreement with the Ghana Football Association have been associated the sport body since 1998.
