The spokesperson for Nana Addo, Mustapha Abdul Hamid told Joy News’ Matilda Asante the areas visited were mostly cocoa growing areas where the people were happy with government’s handling of the cocoa sector. He said retired teachers and other workers raised issues concerning them which were addressed by the NPP presidential candidate. According to Mr. Abdul Hamid, most of the questions asked had to do with the increasing fuel prices. He said Nana Addo told the cocoa farmers he intends to pay them bonuses and widen the scope of the mass cocoa spraying exercise and ensure it is done in a timely manner.
