Kumasi Asante Kotoko yesterday tasted their first defeat since the Premiership began three weeks ago, losing 0-1 to Ashantigold.The Porcupine Warriors, prior to this defeat, had enjoyed victory in their first five matches, including the 5-0 trouncing of Accra Great Olympics at the refurbished Baba Yara Sports Stadium at Kumasi last Wednesday.
The defeat notwithstanding, Kotoko still leads the league with 15 points. In other matches, the woes of Accra Hearts of Oak deepen with a 0-1 loss to Kessben FC, while Berekum Arsenals fell to King Faisal.
