Bibiani Government Hospital Honours Retired Workers Website
Management of Bibiani Government Hospital has awarded five of its retired workers, who had worked for the hospital ranging between 24 years and 41years. The management also awarded in proxy, Dr Francis Akwasi Yamoah, a medical officer of the hospital, who was pursuing further studies. The award winners who each received a table top refrigerator and a citation, were Madam Theresa Donkor, who worked at the hospital for 41 years, Mr Sarkodie Afoudour, environmental labourer, who worked for 35 years and Madam Doris Menka, who worked for 34 years. The rest were Madam Mabel Carolyn Lamptey, who also served the hospital for 33 years, Mr Kofi Badu, who worked for 24 years. Mr Louis Kwame Bayuoh, Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai District Assembly co-ordinating Director, commended the retired workers for their hard work and honesty. He appealed to other workers at the hospital to emulate the good work of the retired workers. Mr Bayuoh urged the serving workers to tap the rich experiences of the retired workers. Dr Paul Kwaw Ntodi, the Medical Officer in-charge of the hospital, commended the retired workers for their dedicated services to hospital. Dr Joseph Amoabeng, Bibiani-Anhwiaso-Bekwai District Director of Ghana Health Service, congratulated management of the hospital for honouring its retired workers. He advised workers at the hospital to desist from laziness, lateness and drunkenness to retain the hospital's good reputation.
