“We should all take part in the registration exercise yet to be launched by Electoral Commission (EC) and ensure that we vote massively for the NPP.”
Madam Sarfo worshiping at the Christ Apostolic Church International, Taifa Central, in Accra on Sunday.
She said the occasion was to afford her and the NPP to give thanks to the Almighty God for ensuring peace within the nation as well as her victory during the parliamentary primaries.
Madam Sarfo told the congregation that the Voter’s Register which was used in the last general election would no longer be used by the EC adding, it would be replaced by the biometric register.
She said the biometric registration exercise would commence on March 24 to May 12, 2012.
According to her, the biometric registration was unique because finger prints and pictures of electorates would be taken.
She said the NPP had always stood for peace and that democracy was all about the “thumb” and not petty quarrels or mayhem.
Reverend Augustine Bugyei, Resident Pastor, and the entire congregation prayed for the nation and wished her well in her endeavours.
The Pastor asked members of the Church to ensure peace and orderliness in their various constituencies during the election period.
Madam Sarfo later donated an undisclosed amount of money to the Church.
