Cowards die many times before their deaths it is said, the recent press conference by the CJA calling for NPP members to be prosecuted in this ridiculous assertion that the NPP misused the the TOR Debt recovery is without basis and shows the hypocrisy and ignorance of Mr Kwasi Adu and especially Mr Kwesi Pratt, a man who was once a shining light in Ghana ‘s democratic struggle but now like Lucifer has become a snake walking on his belly, associating himself with demagogues and occultists. The naked hypocrisy of the CJA defies belief. Its members have been rushing daily to receive weekly GOIL fuel coupons thus most of their members do not pay even for petrol and they have the audacity to come and hold press conferences to call on innocent people to be arrested and imprisoned, all because a difficult cabinet decision was taken to use a portion of the levy to support the ministry of information. NPP were able to manage Tema Oil Refinery without any closure for 8 years. Because of good negotiating practices they were able to get crude from oil companies and also bring the private sector to compliment crude supply. At a point when we had petrol being sold at 147 dollars a barrel on the world market, they were able to have some of the lowest petrol prices in the world with neighbouring countries coming to Ghana to buy petrol!! During Dr KK Sarpong’s tenure as chief executive, 18 tankers were set up to boost capacity. At present 8 oil marketing companies affiliated to the NDC are importing crude oil into the oil market. In an effort to maximise profits TOR is deliberately shut so these companies including one owned by Ato Ahwoi, Kwesi Pratt’s Godfather can make at least a 200% killing. Recently TOR was secretly shut without the public being told for two weeks because they run out of crude again for the 7th time since 2009 - where was Kwasi Adu and Kwesi Pratt when this was happening? were they taking siesta at home? Currently, the ministry of information under Mr John Tia, with the support of Mr Okudeto Ablakwa and Mr Agyenim Boateng as well as some National security elements are using state funds to support some NDC newspapers and their surrogates around the country. Between June 2009 and December,2010 they spent 125 million dollars. If this is not misuse of state funds then what is it? There are also allegations that the National Disaster Management Organisation led by Mr Kofi Portuphy is diverting items meant for relief distribution to NDC members and district chief executives to campaign in the districts towards 2012. Is this not abuse of the public trust and misuse of public resources. Before Squardron leader Clend Sowu, one of the few honest members of the NDC and a man of honour passed away, he lamented about the corruption at the board of the electricity corporation and the lack of transparency in its deals regarding contracts, Last year it was discovered 215 million Ghana cedis was missing!! nterestingly Mr Allotey Jacobs, NDC Central Region Propaganda secretary a member of the CJA who cannot even fix a socket or switch on a light , is a member of this board. What does Kwesi Pratt have to say about this? We appeal to Kwesi Pratt and Kwesi Adu and others on the Committee for Jokers and Arnachists to give us a break !! Ghanaians are currently suffering from some of the worst economic policies ever introduced by a government that claims to be social democrats. True Social democrats to not steal fuel coupons meant for civil servants, social democrats do not embezzle 4 billion cedis on budget workshops, true social democrats do not chase traders down the street of Accra and beat them with canes and belts , true social democrats do not embezzle 7.2 million dollars at the sports ministry and keep quiet about it. May God save us from quacks, charlatans and pen pushing criminals.
