Mrs. Comfort Osei-Abaya, ‘The Woman of Praise’ as she is affectionately called by her fans is out with her fourth album ‘Agape Love’.
She got the name ‘The Woman of Praise’ because of the power behind her praise songs and her beautiful ‘David dance’ moves during praise and worship.
In 2000, Comfort released her first album, ‘Time Changes’ which made an impact in Ghana and the US. She subsequently followed it with, ‘Dream Maker’, her second, ‘Hyira Me’ (Bless Me) her third which had hit songs, ‘Sankofa and ‘No Prayer No Power’.
She is currently out with her fourth, ’Agape Love’, a 12-track album with praise and worship songs set to encourage, empower, heal broken hearts and mend weary souls.
The album has a mix of English and Twi songs like ‘Call Jesus’, ‘Holy Joy’, ‘Good God’, ‘Nyame do me’, ‘Prophesy’, ‘Boni Ben?’ and the title track, ‘Agape Love’ which talks about the joy of experiencing the love of God.
Comfort’s determination and passion for her music led her to start the Empowered By Praise International Ministries whose main focus is to encourage, enlighten, and empower all people especially women and children with the word of God and the sure promises of God through music.
Aside music, Mama Connie, as others also call her works as a Respiratory Therapist after graduating from the Morgan State University in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. She is blessed with a wonderful family and living her dream and passion of being a ‘Woman of Praise’.
