One of the reigning hiplife artistes in Ghana, Ebenezer Asare aka Slim Busterr has disclosed that proceeds from the sales of his latest album would be donated to Global Foundation, a non-governmental organization.
He said the NGO, which he was part of, seeks to mobilize funds through musical performances and from international sources to fulfill his long-cherished dream of assisting the needy in society.
Slim Busterr, in an interview said he had been reflecting on how to bring back the smiles back on the faces of deprived children whose parents could not provide their basic needs, let alone see them through school.
He explained that his musical performances had taken him to the most deprived communities of the country where he saw abject poverty.
Slim Busterr, who entered the music industry in 1986, after he won the 1986 National Dance Championship, said he was set to release his latest album title, “I Feel Chicken Tonight” on the music market.
He told Beatwaves that he was currently putting finishing touches to his album which would be released later this month alongside his music video.
“Currently, I am working on my video clip, which would be released alongside the album,” he said.
According to him, when one listened to any of the tracks on the album, one could not fail to notice the well-arranged instrumentation.
However, he declined to state the number of tracks on the album, but disclosed that the album would surely win the hearts of a myriad of music lovers, who would possibly adopt it.
Many, who have watched him perform live would agree that hosts of music lovers, especially women, respond joyfully to his songs.
Slim Busterr however, advised Ghanaians to wait patiently for his latest album, which according to him would suit the taste of all and sundry.
