World acclaimed Cameroon music star, Richard Bona will this evening stage a live musical concert at the National Theatre at 8.00pm.
He is expected to hold the audience spellbound with his music and more than anything his electrifying voice and stagecraft which will surely keep fans glued to their seats throughout.
Richard Bona told BEATWAVES that he would sing his heart out and make fans scream throughout the show.
He said, “I am an African and always want to promote African music. The whole world knows that good music comes from Africa”.
Richard Bona is extraordinarily versatile, having played almost every style of music.
He has performed on many platforms alongside some international musicians like George Benson.
Songs on his first three albums, ‘Scenes From My Life’, ‘Reverence’ and ‘Munia’ have exposed his talent to the world and many music fans see him as a wonderful storyteller whose spellbinding vocals are smoothly wrapped around his unique musical arrangements.
His flowing style blends a horde of influences, including jazz, bossa nova, pop, afro-beat, traditional song and funk. This unique combination has given Bona’s music a new dimension; one that is unexplored yet genuinely universal.
