Coach Harry Redknapp has admitted that if he fails to bring success to English side Portsmouth, his star players like Sulley Muntari will walk out.
The Pompey boss is desperate to bring silverware to the club in order to hang on to top players like the Ghanaian midfielder.
Muntari might have chosen to reject overtures from Manchester United and Liverpool in January, but Redknapp has warned home fans that they cannot expect his top players like him to hang around forever.
Redknapp is delighted to have been able to attract top-class Premier League stars to Portsmouth, but now knows his next task is winning trophies to keep them on the South Coast.
The Portsmouth coach said: "Given the type of players I am attracting to this club now, we have to accept we either move forward and win silverware or the players will leave and we will find it harder to attract stars of the same quality.
"I've brought in some fantastic players for Portsmouth this season, but I need success to sustain that and keep them happy or they will all clear off eventually.
"Players like Diarra and Sulley Muntari haven't come here not to win things. They are big players and want to win trophies."
