Norway-based striker Razak Pimpong has donated forty pairs of boots and other equipment to Division One side Maamobi Midjylland.
Pimpong, who plays for premier division side Aalesunds, made the donation to the club in Accra on Wednesday.
The 25-year-old said he made the gesture to help boost the club in the new National Division One league season.
"It is appropriate that at the start of the season the players of the club I hold dearly should be uplifted," Pimpong told Ghanasoccernet.
"This donation is my widow's mite to help the club qualify for the Premier League by the end of the season.
"The players in the club are my brothers and I hope this small donation can go a long way in helping them."
Pimpong's late manager Alhaji Bimbo owned the Maamobi-based club.
Maamobi Midjylland are top of their zone after three matches as they have won two games and lost one.
