ONE OF Ghana’s seasoned actors, Kwame Owusu Ansah, who died through a motor accident which occurred on the Tema Motorway on Thursday May 1, 2008, would be buried tomorrow Saturday at the Osu Cemetery in Accra.
Kwame’s Toyota Camry with registration number GT 4665Z ran straight under a packed cargo truck with registration number AS 3246W and in the process he suffered multiple head and waist injuries.
The ace actor died at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital while doctors were trying to save his life.
Today Friday June 13, there would be wake-keeping at the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) near the British Embassy.
The burial and memorial service will take place at the Holy Spirit Cathedral, Adabraka, followed by interment at the Osu Cemetery.
The final funeral rites for the departed movie star who left behind two children, Alexis Maa Fia and Mimi Awurama, will take place at Pavilion ‘A’, Ghana Trade Fair Centre at La after the burial.
On Sunday, June 15 there would be thanksgiving service at the Corpus Christi Catholic Church, Sakumono, near Fridays Spot.
Kwame, before the unfortunate accident, was lending his support to the Ghana music industry to attain higher heights.
He was the vice president in charge of Public Relations at MaddHaus Incorporated, a new music label and subsidiary of FNT Group of companies.
