The current reigning Malaika beauty queen, Ama Nettey, would in a few months time hand over the prestigious mantle to another fortunate lady.
Since her reign as beauty queen and Malaria Ambassador, Miss Nettey has been actively involved in a series of Malaria campaigns, MTN Y’llo Care, orphanage visitations and various community projects in the country.
Currently, she is managing a project for the inmates of the Weija Leprosarium, where she has plans of renovating their old structure and donating assorted products to them as well.
Meanwhile, the organizers of the annual Miss Malaika Ghana beauty pageant are giving a life time opportunity to young, bold, beautiful and intelligent ladies to register and be part of the 2011 audition process by texting their names to short code 1757 across all networks.
The audition is slated for Saturday, August 6, 2011 at the Ultra-Modern Studios of Gh One, located in Accra, near RANA motors on the main STC yard road.
The successful candidates who would make it to the top after the semi-final stage would step into a new world of fantasy, fame and fortune.
The overall winning queen to take over from Ama Nettey would have a mouth-watering grand package; the car, the cash and the enviable Miss Malaika crown that would transform her life forever.
The prospective ambitious ladies who are preparing to join the audition train would be taken through a period of quizzes designed for them.
The sponsors for the 2010 Miss Malaika Ghana projects are MTN, Nestle, Yazz, Polytank, Unilever, Voltic, Shoprite, Latex Foam, Samsung, Leyland and Leylac paints.
