Black Stars Coach, Claude Le Roy resigned Thursday, citing personal reasons. GFA president Kwesi Nyantekyi who confirmed this to HAPPY FM named former Black Stars and Kotooko Captain Kwesi Appiah.
Le Roy’s contract with the GFA expires in June, but he has been linked with the coaching jobs in South Africa and Ivory Coast.
He resigned his position as Congo coach before joining Ghana after the world cup in Germany in 2006.
He Replaced Ratomire Dujkovic who took Ghana to their impressive world cup appearnce.
Le Roy’s assistant has also won a contract with the Zambian FA to prepare them for the next Nations Cup assignment and the World Cup in 2010 and their qualifying games.
