League leaders Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Berekum Arsenals yesterday played a goalless drawn game at the Berekum Coronation Park.
The draw thus cut Kotoko’s lead to four as both Kpando Heart of Lions and Liberty Professionals won their respective matches.
Arsenal, who looked invincible at home this season failed to convert the chances that came their way.
Their attacking pair of Attakora Gyimah and Ibrahim Dauda were not sharp as the Porcupine Warriors ran away with a point at the dreaded Berekum Coronation Park.
In the other top-liner of the week, second-placed Liberty Professionals ran away with the three maximum points when they beat Ashgold by two goals to nil.
The win enabled the scientific soccer lads to close the gap between them and Kotoko to four.
Former Bofoakwa striker Yaw Antwi scored one of the goals at the beginning of the second half.
Ashgold who marched the Dansoman boys boot-for-boot in the first half, failed to hold on to the challenge, allowing Liberty to record their fifth consecutive win in the Onetouch Premier league.
At Abrankese, Kessben FC whipped Accra Great Olympics by three goals to nil.
Former Starlets striker Ransford Osei grabbed a brace while Musah Ibrahim got the third goal of the match.
