Eedris Adulkareem claims that his scuffle with 50 liberated Nigerian artists.
Well Lil Wayne may have attributed his recent Billboard success to 50 Cent dissing him but he isn’t alone on the 50 Cent phenomenon. Eedris Abdulkareem, the Nigerian rapper who sought for relevance some years ago by feuding with 50 Cent over a plane seat, claims that his actions have liberated Nigerian artists. From who or what, I don’t really know.
He has revealed that he suffered throughout the period because he was ‘black-balled’ by corporate bodies following the incident but he however believes it was worth it.
“Today, artistes are now enjoying the fruit of my struggle for the industry. The struggle is worth it. They are respecting us abroad now,” he says. Eedris also revealed that he has reconciled with 50 Cent and will be working on a new project with the African American rapper. “We are back together with a bang. Just watch out for my new project with him.”
Eedris Abdulkareem stated that the reactions that trailed the 50 Cent controversy helped inspire his new album titled “The King Is Back” because it provided him with issues to address in his new album. Well the king is back to claim a throne he never had. I personally don’t think the whole 50 thing was worth it.
