GHANA’S SOLE Africa Champions League campaigners, Ashanti Gold FC are hopeful of turning the tide around to qualify for the group stages of the competition at the expense of JSK of Algeria. With a 3-0 advantage, JSK treks to Obuasi to lock horns with Ashanti Gold at the Len Clay Stadium in a second leg tie tomorrow. To some connoisseurs of the game, the end of the road has come for the miners with regard to this year’s Africa Champions League. But Ashanti Gold, runners up in the 1997 edition of the competition, are sure of making it to at least the lucrative group stages of the competition.
