Ghana midfielder Sulley Muntari entered Portsmouth folklore after his late penalty dumped Manchester United out of the English FA Cup.
Muntari thumped in a penalty past stand-in keeper Rio Ferdinand with only 12 minutes remaining, sending Pompey through to the semi-finals for the first time in 16 years.
Ferdinand was forced to take the goalkeepers shirt and gloves after Tomasz Kuszczak was sent off for the foul that led to the penalty.
Kuszczak had come on to replace the injured Edwin van der Saar.
But it was Nigerian striker Kayode Odejayi, who plays in the second tier in English football who stole the headlines.
Odejayi's header knocked holders Chelsea out of the FA Cup and gave Barnsley a shock place in the semi-finals where they will play fellow Championship side Cardiff.
Portsmouth will take on another Championship side West Bromwich Albion.
