A5's mission is to help reduce the spread of HIV/AIDS in Africa by increasing awareness, fighting against stigma and discrimination, and empowering people to minimize the risk of infection. To improve the lives of people globally, A5 also runs programs to provide care and support for People Living with HIV/AIDS and programs in the United States to reach African American and Caribbean American communities (two groups hard hit by HIV/AIDS).
