Joy Business has learnt that tax consultant Ali Nakyea has resigned from the Board of the Ghana Revenue Authority.
Mr. Nakyea who tendered in his resignation last week, is said to be moving on to pursue his doctorate degree outside the country.
The tax consultant was appointed in August this year together with eight other members to help with the supervision of the authority and make the necessary tax policy recommendations to the Finance Minister.
He was one of four members representing the private sector on the GRA board. He was also a member of the former Revenue Agencies Governing Board.
